2. Extension of Maternity Leave to 90 consecutive days
As you may also be aware, we have multiple programmes that places focus on work-life, encourages higher productivity and ability of staff to innovate. One of the work-life programmes that we have rolled out is our signature Parenting @ Work workshops which has been well received by xxxbankers from across the regions. This programme aims to educate and promote practical ideas on how to foster healthy family relationships. Further to this, I am pleased to announce that we are ready now to extend maternity leave of female xxxbankers to 90 consecutive days, effective immediately. This is in line with our promise to nurture, create and transform our society to be one that is socially responsible. It also allows for the invaluable bonding time between a mother and her child as we believe in a firm foundation and the rightstart for a healthy family.
